Diagnostic Hearing Tests
If hearing loss is beginning to affect your quality of life, our audiologists can perform a thorough assessment by conducting a hearing test to identify the issue and discuss the best way forward. This includes an ear canal examination, diagnostic evaluation and a discussion of possible solutions. We also conduct specialised hearing check tests for aviation medicals, entrance into the Victorian Police Force, pre-employment tests, TAC hearing tests, and Paediatric hearing tests.

Hearing Aid Fittings
As an independent audiology practice we offer unbiased advice and have access to a broad range of hearing aid styles and brands. Every professional hearing aid fitting is customized to each individual ear to ensure the optimal outcome.
Ear Wax Removal
We provide safe, effective and affordable earwax removal to help clear ear canals of impacted wax, debris and foreign bodies. Victorian Hearing conducts earwax removal to the industry gold standards by university trained Audiologists who are dedicated experts of the ear canal and hearing health. We conduct earwax removal under microscope or voroscope ( head-worn magnifier) using micro-suction ( gentle vacuum) or curettage. These methods are safer and more efficient than traditional syringing.
Tinnitus Management & Treatment
While there is no cure for tinnitus, we can tailor a program to help you manage the symptoms and improve your quality of life.
Hearing Protection
Victorian Hearing offers customized ear protection for swimming, sleeping, industry and music.
Children’s Tests
Children under the age of 4yo in need of a hearing test are required to book an appointment at either our Clayton or Brighton clinics where there is a full sized, free field audio booth. Children over 4yo are able to be seen for a hearing test at any Victorian Hearing clinic.
Aural Rehabilitation
Following identification and diagnoses of hearing loss our aural rehabilitation ranges from hearing aid fitting; hearing aid accessories; assistive listening devices; management techniques and communication strategies tailored to the degree, type and aetiology of hearing loss and individual needs.
