Over the Australia Day long weekend, the Victorian Hearing team was proud to be part of the vibrant atmosphere at the Festival of Sails in Geelong.

As one of Australia’s largest sailing regattas, the Festival of Sails brings together thousands of competitors, families, and visitors along the stunning waterfront each year. With sunshine, sea breezes, and a strong sense of community spirit, it was the perfect setting for Victorian Hearing to connect with locals and visitors alike.

Connecting with the Community

Our stand was a hub of activity throughout the weekend. We had the opportunity to:

  • Chat with attendees about hearing health and the importance of regular hearing checks
  • Provide information about early signs of hearing loss
  • Share practical tips on protecting your hearing in noisy environments
  • Give guests a peak inside their own ears!
  • Answer questions about hearing aids and the latest technology

It was fantastic to see so many people taking a proactive interest in their hearing wellbeing. Events like this give us the chance to have meaningful conversations outside of the clinic setting and make hearing health more accessible and approachable.
